2.3.3.2 Wh-interrogative clause

Being an adjective complement, Wh-interrogative clause is after an adjective

and complement for it.

Ex: "I wasn't certain whose house I was in."

Tôi không rõ lắm về việc tôi đã ở trong nhà ai.

Writers try to convey the message of interrogative clause by ―ai‖, ―ở đâu‖, ―chỗ

nào‖…. Wh-interrogative clause is translated by the way that can be suitable

with style of Vietnamese, that is S + V + wh-interrogative words, ―tôi không rõ

lắm về cái gì? – ―tôi không rõ lắm về việc tôi đã ở trong nhà ai‖
