2.5.2. Comparison and contrast There are similarities and differences between grammar test items in the new TOEIC tests and those in TOEIC 1, 2 course books. They have English grammar points in common, but their frequency tested is different from each other. For this reason, it affects the student‟s process and result of learning. From the data analyzed by statistics method, test type items and grammar points in both TOEIC tests and TOEIC 1, 2 course books will be compared to each other. After comparison and contrast, the differences between them are pointed out and considered as good suggestions for the international exam. 20
