To Assign Print Permissions

By default, Windows XP Professional assigns the Print permission for each printer to

the built-in Everyone group, allowing all users to send documents to the printer. You

can also assign print permissions to users or groups.

Security Alert Because the Everyone group includes all users, you should remove the

Everyone group from the list of groups with print permissions for a printer and instead use the

Users group to provide general network access to a printer.
