Chart A1-4 contains an alphabetical list of the 109 phrasalverbs introduced in the text.• To give students an overview of the many meanings phrasal verbs can express in English, youmight present the example putparticle. Students will understand this is an area of English that will take some time to master.The text offers them a starting point.
