from school about one kilometer, so she walks to school.
Lao Cai is new to her. It is bigger and noisier than Bat Xat. Bat Xat doesn’t
have many tall buildings like Lao Cai.
Her new school is also bigger than her old school in Bat Xat. It has a lot of
students.
Thoa doesn’t have any friends in Lao Cai because she’s a newcomer. She
has a lot of friends in Bat Xat. She’s not very happy here because she misses
her parents and friends in Hue.
