a. Câu hỏi có nghi vấn tự (when…) ta giữ nguyên.

_ He said to me: “What would you do if you were in

my position?”

 He asked me what I would do if I were in his

position.

b. Câu hỏi không có nghi vấn tự, ta thêm “if” hoặc

“whether”

_ He said to me: “Will you go home if you finish the

work soon?”

 He asked me whether I would go home if I finished

the work soon.
