4. In the dialog box that appears, select the desired component and click OK, or
click Have Disk to install a component that does not appear on the list.
When you install a network component, the component becomes available to all con-
nections automatically. You should disable components that are not used by a particu-
lar network connection. This process reduces the amount of network traffic generated
on the connection, therefore increasing overall performance. To disable a component
without uninstalling it, open the Properties dialog box for the network connection and
clear the check box.
When a component is no longer required by any connection, you can uninstall it.
Uninstalling a component removes it from all connections.
