Clause 20 of the Books contains detailed provisions dealing with the submis-

sion and processing of claims by the Contractor and the resolution of disputes

between the parties.

Employer ’ s claims are dealt with in clause 2.5 of the Books and we consid-

ered these in Section 4.2.3 above. In this section, we look at contractors ’ claims

in more detail and in Part III of this Handbook we examine the Dispute

Adjudication Board process and arbitration.
