Tet or the Lunar New Year holiday is the most important festival in Viet Nam. Tet is a
joyful festival which occurs in late January or early February. On this occasion, people
usually clean and decorate their homes, eat special food and wear new and beautiful
clothes. The food which is traditional at Tet is sticky rice cake. Relatives and neighbors
often visit and give other ones best wishes for the new year.
