7. A. PIN-based security is designed for home networks or small office installations to help

ease the burden of setting up wireless LAN security. The IEEE 802.11i amendment to the

standard requires CCMP/AES and is used in enterprise installations. Enterprise installa-

tions use more sophisticated solutions such as user-based and 802.1X/EAP. Multifactor

authentication requires at least two parts to be authenticated, such as something you have

and something you know. A bank automated teller machine (ATM) card is an example of
