2. Choose a Data Source. You can use the wizard to import data from flat
files, Excel files, Access databases, or any database that you can access via an
ODBC, OLE DB, or .Net provider. Each provider will need to be config-
ured differently. You will need to have the information that your selected
data source requires. For example, if you were pulling from a flat file, you
would need to know the path of the file, how it was delimited (comma,
tab, etc.), and whether or not there was a header row, etc.
You can also configure the data source. For example, if the source is a
flat file, you can use the Advanced page to set appropriate data types for
the fields in the text file.
