Theevent is also in line with the UN General Assembly’s upcoming approval of the “Convention on the Rightsof Persons with Disabilities and the response to the call of the UN Economic and Social Commission forAsia and the Pacific(UNESCAP).The program is for people such as disabled people, people living with HIV / AIDS and enthusiasticvolunteers who are actively supporting the disadvantaged ones as well as serving in other developmentareas. It is also aimed at enhancing the competence of the Hanoi Diabled People’s Association and disabledpeople’s organizations.Attending the meeting are leaders of the government, involving ministries, committes and branches,ambassadors, representatives from international and non-governmental organizations, disabled people,people living with HIV / AIDS; national and international volunteers.
