Chú ý: cáchchuyểntừsốđếm sang sốthứtự:

- Sốthứtựcấutạobằngcáchthêm “th” vàosausốđếmvàthêmmạotừxácđịnh “the”

trướcnó, trừcácsố: 1 (the first), 2(the second), 3(the third)

cũngnhưcácsốghépvớichúngnhư 21(the twenty-first), 22(the twenty-second)…

- Cónhữngtrườnghợpchínhtảbiếnđổi: five – the fifth (ve => f), nine – the ninth,

twenty – the twentieth (y =>ie).
