I am writing to tell you that I have been appointed for Operations Manager at the City Zoo. The
zoo is a major tourist attraction, with over a million of visitors a year. I shall be responsible for
welcoming to the visitors and running all the activities in the zoo. Accommodation is also
provided, so I won't need to look for somewhere to live in. My starting salary will be around
$25.000, which isn't bad. I'm really very looking forward to starting work there. I hope I'll be
able to cope with all the work I involved. I must admit that I'm a little so nervous about it all.
